Wait a damn minute! How are folks continuously making excuses for the failings of Colorado and coaching staff? Deion came in and alienated the roster and told them they were trash and they should leave. So the first year excuse was they are rebuilding. Fast forward two years later and recruiting is still an issue why? Maybe just maybe the coaching staff and all their flashy b.s isn’t a draw and folks just wanna play ball without the extras. Dabo gets flamed for not using the portal and their team isn’t good. Deion uses it a ton and their team isn’t good either. There needs to be a balance of portal and talent development for it to work. Kids see through the facade and want to be developed, which Deion doesn’t do. Recruits don’t want to go there. Just because he is deemed “real” doesn’t give him a pass on be scrutinized.
